Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a coastal lifestyle across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other emirates, with beaches, modern cities, desert landscapes and excellent international connections. Hospitality, tourism, retail, events, aviation and luxury services provide regular employment opportunities, especially for experienced multilingual professionals. The culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage and a highly international workforce. Dubai offers lively dining, shopping and entertainment, while Abu Dhabi is generally quieter and more residential. Summers are extremely hot, so indoor facilities and air-conditioning are central to daily life. Employers normally arrange an employment visa and residence permit, with medical testing and Emirates ID registration required after arrival. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, insurance, flights and relocation support are included. Living costs can be high, particularly for rent, although employer-provided housing or allowances can make relocation more manageable.
