Destination Guide

Although the UAE is not an island, it offers a diverse lifestyle across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the coastal emirates. Hospitality, retail, aviation, tourism, food service, and facilities management provide regular employment opportunities, particularly for multilingual and experienced workers. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for Islamic customs are important. Dubai offers beaches, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and desert activities, while living costs can be high, especially for accommodation. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit, with the employer generally arranging medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and flights or accommodation according to the contract. Review salary, housing, transport, insurance, probation, and leave terms carefully before relocating.
