Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates offers strong opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, and events, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although the UAE is not an island, Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah provides a resort-style coastal setting with beaches, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Life is modern, convenient, and multicultural, with excellent transport, healthcare, and international communities. The culture blends Islamic traditions with a global business environment; modest dress and respectful behavior are important, especially during Ramadan. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant and popular for outdoor activities. For most overseas hospitality employees, the employer arranges a work permit, residence visa, medical testing, and Emirates ID, subject to UAE regulations. Relocation packages may include accommodation or housing allowance, meals, transport, annual leave, health insurance, and an airfare allowance, depending on the employment contract.
