Destination Guide

Bali offers hospitality, tourism, creative, wellness, food and beverage, events, and digital-media opportunities, particularly in areas such as Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak, Ubud, and Canggu. The island’s culture is strongly influenced by Balinese Hinduism, with daily offerings, temple ceremonies, traditional dance, and community customs forming an important part of local life. The lifestyle is generally relaxed, social, and outdoors-oriented, with beaches, surfing, hiking, and wellness activities widely available, although traffic and seasonal tourism can be challenging. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate Indonesian work permit and stay visa arranged with employer support; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Before relocating, confirm sponsorship, contract terms, accommodation, health insurance, taxes, and local registration. Indonesian language skills and respect for religious etiquette are valuable.
