Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island nation but a Gulf federation of seven emirates, with Dubai offering the widest range of hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, and business opportunities. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respect for religion, and awareness of local customs are important. Dubai’s lifestyle is modern and fast-paced, with beaches, shopping malls, desert activities, dining, and extensive public transport. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are warm and popular with visitors. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the employer generally arranges entry permits, medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and residency formalities. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, gratuity, leave, and visa costs in the offer. Relocating workers should budget for deposits, personal expenses, and document attestation where required.
