Destination Guide

Thailand offers hotel, restaurant, housekeeping, spa, diving, retail and tour jobs across destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Koh Phangan and Koh Chang. Khao Lak is a quieter coastal resort area near national parks and beaches, with a relaxed lifestyle and a strong tourism economy. Thai culture values politeness, respect for elders, modest dress at temples and friendly service. Living costs are generally lower than in Bangkok, though popular islands can be expensive during high season. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting employment; requirements vary by nationality and role. Employers often assist with paperwork, but applicants should verify contracts, accommodation, transport, benefits and legal status. The tourist high season usually runs from November to April, creating more hospitality opportunities, while monsoon months can be quieter.
