Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular relocation destination for hospitality professionals, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah. Hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, theme parks, and tourism businesses regularly recruit international staff. The culture is multicultural and generally respectful, with Islamic traditions influencing dress, public behavior, and holiday periods. Dubai offers a fast-paced lifestyle, excellent transport, beaches, shopping, dining, and entertainment, though accommodation and daily expenses can be high. Employers usually sponsor a work permit and residence visa after hiring; employees should not work on a tourist visa. Confirm the written offer, benefits, accommodation, transport, medical cover, probation terms, and contract conditions before relocating. Bring authenticated documents where required and budget for initial expenses until payroll begins.
