Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers extensive coastal living, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Hospitality jobs are widely available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, beach clubs, airlines, and tourism attractions, with strong demand for English-speaking service professionals. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international lifestyle; modest dress and respectful behavior are expected in public and at work. Dubai offers beaches, shopping, nightlife, desert activities, and excellent public transport, though housing and daily expenses can be high. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, arrange medical testing and Emirates ID processing, and may provide accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and flights. Employees should not work on a tourist visa. Before relocating, confirm the written contract, salary, benefits, working hours, accommodation arrangements, probation terms, and recruitment costs. Summers are extremely hot, while winter is more comfortable for outdoor activities.
