Company Info

Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi is a planned luxury island resort in the Maldives, associated with the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection and operated through Marriott International’s luxury hospitality platform. Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts combines Italian design, contemporary glamour and highly personalized service with carefully selected destinations. The Ranfushi resort is expected to offer premium accommodation, fine dining, wellness, marine activities and exclusive guest experiences in a private island setting. As part of a luxury pre-opening or opening team, employees may help establish operating standards, recruit and train colleagues, prepare outlets and deliver the Bvlgari guest experience from the beginning. The company environment is likely to be international, service-focused and demanding, with strong emphasis on presentation, discretion, quality and consistency.

Destination Guide

Maldives offers career opportunities in luxury resorts, food and beverage, diving, watersports, housekeeping, engineering, finance and guest services. Resort islands are international workplaces, while local islands have a more traditional Muslim culture, including modest dress and restrictions on alcohol outside designated resort areas. Life on a resort island is beautiful but can feel isolated; employees usually receive accommodation, meals, transport and recreational facilities, although space and supplies may be limited. Foreign workers generally need employer sponsorship and a valid Maldives employment approval or work visa before starting work; requirements can include medical checks, passport documents and authenticated qualifications. Relocation is normally arranged by the employer, but candidates should confirm airfare, service charge, leave, insurance, internet access and contract terms. Malé is the main transport and administrative hub, and resort transfers commonly use speedboats or seaplanes.
