Destination Guide

Fiji offers hospitality, tourism, restaurant, resort, marine recreation, retail, healthcare, education, and construction opportunities, with the greatest concentration around Nadi, Denarau, Suva, and the Coral Coast. Fijian culture emphasizes community, respect, welcoming guests, and strong family connections. English is widely used, while iTaukei and Fiji Hindi are also important languages. Lifestyle is relaxed and outdoor-focused, with beaches, snorkeling, diving, boating, hiking, markets, and warm weather year-round. Living costs can be high in tourist areas, especially for accommodation and imported goods. Overseas workers normally need an approved employment contract and a work permit or relevant visa before starting work; the employer commonly assists with sponsorship and documentation. Candidates should confirm accommodation, meals, transport, medical cover, taxes, relocation costs, and contract conditions directly with the employer before moving.
