Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular relocation destination for hospitality workers, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Ajman. Opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, housekeeping, food and beverage, front office, engineering, and guest services. UAE culture combines Islamic traditions with a highly international community; modest dress and respectful behavior are important. Lifestyle includes beaches, shopping, desert activities, dining, and warm weather, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally sponsor an employment visa, arrange medical testing and an Emirates ID, and provide a labor contract. Confirm accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, leave, airfare, and salary details before accepting an offer. Ajman generally has lower living costs than Dubai, while commuting and shared accommodation remain common for entry-level workers.
