Multi-Property Marketing Manager

Malaysia Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa MYR 8,000–MYR 15,000 per month, depending on experience and benefits*
Job Description

The Multi-Property Marketing Manager develops and delivers marketing plans for several Marriott properties, supporting brand positioning, campaigns, digital channels, public relations, content, partnerships and revenue goals. Candidates should have a degree or relevant experience in marketing, communications, hospitality or a related field, together with strong writing, planning and analytical skills. Experience in hotel or resort marketing, social media, media relations and campaign management is highly desirable. The role requires excellent English communication, commercial awareness, creativity and the ability to coordinate with property leaders, sales teams, agencies and regional Marriott departments. The successful candidate is expected to work independently, manage competing deadlines, protect brand standards and understand the Malaysian and international luxury-travel markets.

Company Info

Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating and franchising a broad portfolio of hotels, resorts and extended-stay properties across many countries. Its brands range from full-service luxury names such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis and JW Marriott to premium and select-service hotels. Marriott places strong emphasis on guest experience, responsible business, employee development and consistent global brand standards. A marketing position supporting Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa would typically involve promoting the resort and related properties to domestic and international guests, building destination awareness and working closely with sales, revenue, public relations and operations teams. The role may also support a new or expanding resort operation, where flexibility, local market knowledge and the ability to create demand before and after opening are especially valuable.

Destination Guide

Malaysia’s islands offer opportunities in resort operations, marketing, sales, diving, food and beverage, wellness, marine activities and guest services. Perhentian Islands are known for clear water, coral reefs, relaxed beach life and a strong diving and tourism community. Local culture blends Malay traditions, Islamic values, fishing heritage and a welcoming service culture; modest dress away from beaches and respectful behavior are appreciated. Lifestyle is peaceful and outdoors-oriented, although transport, shopping and healthcare are more limited than on the mainland. Employees commonly travel by boat from Kuala Besut, with seasonal weather affecting access and resort operations. Foreign nationals generally need an employment pass sponsored by the employer before working legally; tourist status does not permit employment. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, insurance, transport, work authorization and contract terms. Malaysia’s tropical climate, monsoon season and island location should be considered carefully when planning relocation.
