The culture is generally relaxed, multicultural and outdoors-focused, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety, punctuality and responsible alcohol service. Lifestyle benefits include beaches, national parks, sport and diverse food scenes, but Sydney accommodation and transport can be expensive. Foreign workers commonly use Working Holiday, temporary skilled or employer-sponsored visas, depending on eligibility and the position.
