Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest concentration of hospitality, finance, tourism, retail, and technology opportunities. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while Islamic traditions influence public etiquette, dress, holidays, and daily life. Dubai offers a fast-paced lifestyle, modern infrastructure, international dining, beaches, shopping, and extensive leisure activities, although accommodation and schooling can be expensive. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical testing, and Emirates ID applications; dependants may be sponsored subject to salary and documentation requirements. Before relocating, candidates should confirm the full package, including housing allowance, health insurance, flights, gratuity, and transport. A valid passport, legalized qualifications, and employment contract are commonly required. Summer temperatures are extremely high, so indoor facilities and air-conditioned transport are important parts of everyday life.
