Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Abu Dhabi is an island city connected to the mainland by bridges. It offers strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, healthcare, and technology. The lifestyle is modern, safe, and multicultural, with excellent shopping, beaches, museums, desert activities, and international dining. Local culture values hospitality, modest dress in public places, respect for Islamic traditions, and responsible behavior. Most foreign employees need an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers usually arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and visa formalities. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, transport, insurance, probation terms, and annual leave before relocating. Abu Dhabi is generally more relaxed than Dubai, although living costs can be significant without employer-provided housing.
