Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island nation, but it offers varied coastal destinations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, healthcare, technology, and finance provide strong employment opportunities. UAE workplaces are multicultural, professional, and influenced by Islamic traditions; modest dress and respect for local customs are expected. Lifestyle ranges from busy city living to quieter beach and mountain communities. Employees commonly receive employer-sponsored residence visas, medical checks, health insurance, and sometimes accommodation, meals, and transport. A valid passport, employment contract, and approved work permit are required before starting work. Fujairah and Al Aqah offer a relaxed resort lifestyle, outdoor activities, beaches, and mountains, though public transport and entertainment options are more limited than in Dubai. Costs vary considerably by emirate, while summer temperatures are extremely hot and humid.
