Job Description

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s interior and exterior finishes. Duties typically include preparing surfaces, repairing cracks and damaged areas, mixing and applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and protective coatings, and completing touch-ups in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Candidates should have practical painting experience, knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques, and the ability to use related tools safely. Experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial property is preferred. The successful candidate is expected to produce neat, consistent work, follow health and safety procedures, respond promptly to maintenance requests, protect furnishings and guest areas, and work cooperatively with the Engineering team. Physical stamina, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility for shifts are important.
