Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah, and Sarawak, particularly in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, and tourism. The country combines Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous cultures, with excellent food, festivals, and generally affordable living outside central Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya is modern, spacious, and quieter than Kuala Lumpur, while nearby Kuala Lumpur provides more nightlife and international services. Popular island destinations such as Langkawi, Penang, and the Perhentian Islands offer beaches and resort work, although seasonal conditions can affect hiring. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass or other approved work authorization; they should not work on a tourist visa. Employers commonly guide applications, medical checks, and relocation paperwork. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, accommodation, insurance, transport, probation, and visa sponsorship before accepting an offer.
