Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf federation rather than an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the widest range of hospitality, tourism, retail, finance, technology, and service-sector jobs. English is widely used at work, while Arabic is the official language. The culture combines Islamic traditions, international communities, and a fast-paced urban lifestyle. Dubai offers beaches, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, desert activities, and extensive public transport, although summer temperatures are extremely high. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, work permit, medical checks, and Emirates ID process after hiring; employees should not work on a tourist visa. Relocation packages vary and may include accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, or gratuity. Candidates should verify salary, housing, insurance, probation, working hours, annual leave, and visa sponsorship in the written offer before relocating.
