Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily operations of the Latin American restaurant. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, several years of experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant, strong knowledge of Latin American cuisine, food safety, hygiene, portion control and cost management. The candidate is expected to supervise and motivate kitchen colleagues, maintain consistent food quality, assist with menu preparation, control stock, coordinate service and uphold Ritz-Carlton standards. Flexibility, creativity, stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential. Experience in an international luxury hospitality environment and good communication skills are advantageous.
