Destination Guide

Japan offers opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, technology, education, and corporate services, especially in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and resort areas. Hospitality employers value Japanese language ability, punctuality, presentation, teamwork, and respect for omotenashi, the tradition of thoughtful service. Life in Tokyo is convenient, safe, and highly connected, though housing and commuting can be expensive. Japan has distinct seasons, excellent public transport, rich food culture, historic neighborhoods, and easy access to mountains and coastal areas. Foreign nationals generally need an appropriate work visa before starting employment; hotel roles may require an Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa or another qualifying status. A confirmed job offer, passport, photographs, and supporting documents are normally required. Applicants should verify sponsorship, salary, accommodation, taxes, health insurance, and relocation support directly with the employer.
