Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, and other resort destinations. Hotels, restaurants, spas, villas, and tourism businesses commonly recruit housekeeping, food and beverage, front office, engineering, and wellness staff. Phuket and Koh Samui provide a relaxed beach lifestyle, while Bangkok offers more urban conveniences, transport links, and year-round employment. Thai culture values politeness, respect, modesty, and the traditional wai greeting; learning basic Thai is useful. Living costs vary, with resort islands usually more expensive than provincial areas. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before legally working; requirements depend on nationality and position. Employers may assist with documentation, but candidates should confirm conditions directly. Thailand has hot, humid weather, a rainy season, and strong tourism peaks during the cooler months.
