The culture is multicultural, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indigenous, and international influences; English is widely used in workplaces, alongside Bahasa Malaysia. Living costs vary, with Kuala Lumpur generally more expensive than smaller cities and islands. Public transport is strongest around Kuala Lumpur, while a car or ride-hailing is useful in Puchong. Foreign workers require employer-sponsored authorization. Candidates should confirm visa eligibility, insurance, accommodation, transport, and internship documentation before relocating. Malaysia has tropical weather, diverse food, beaches, rainforests, and a relaxed social lifestyle.
