Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a highly international lifestyle across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the other emirates. Hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, restaurants, events, wellness, and facilities management provide many job opportunities. Dubai is fast-paced and multicultural, with modern malls, beaches, desert activities, excellent public transport, and a wide range of international food. The culture values respect, modesty, punctuality, family, and religious traditions; visitors should dress appropriately in public places and observe local laws. Most overseas employees need an employment visa sponsored by their employer. The company normally arranges work permits, medical tests, Emirates ID processing, and residency formalities. Before relocating, confirm salary, accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, working hours, annual leave, and return-ticket benefits. Living costs can be high, especially for private housing, so employer-provided accommodation is valuable.
