Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, events, and customer service, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture is multicultural and welcoming, while local customs emphasize respectful dress, courtesy, and sensitivity toward Islamic traditions. Dubai provides a modern lifestyle with excellent transport, shopping, beaches, dining, and entertainment, although housing and daily expenses can be high. The UAE has no personal income tax on most employment earnings. For overseas hires, employers normally arrange an employment entry permit, residence visa, medical examination, Emirates ID, and work authorization; never work on a tourist visa. Relocation packages may include staff accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, and flights, but these must be confirmed in writing. Prepare certified documents, passport copies, photographs, and education or experience records before travel. The UAE is not an island, but it offers coastal and island destinations such as Palm Jumeirah, Yas Island, and Saadiyat Island.
