Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a popular destination for hospitality professionals, with strong opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, aviation, and tourism, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although the UAE is not an island, Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and numerous coastal resorts offer a resort-style lifestyle. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; respect for local customs, modest public behavior, and awareness of Islamic holidays are important. Life is modern and convenient, with excellent transport, shopping, beaches, dining, and entertainment, though summer temperatures are extremely high. Employers usually arrange a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID after hiring. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, flights, and relocation costs are included before accepting an offer. Employees should never work on a tourist visa.
