Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai is a coastal city with beaches, desert landscapes, modern attractions, and a highly international lifestyle. Hospitality, aviation, retail, tourism, food and beverage, construction, technology, and healthcare provide many job opportunities. UAE workplaces are multicultural, and English is widely used, while Islamic customs, modest public behavior, and respect for local traditions are important. Dubai offers excellent dining, shopping, entertainment, and transport, although rent and daily expenses can be high. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and related paperwork. Confirm contract terms covering accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, probation, working hours, and gratuity before relocating. Bring attested documents where requested and use only legal employment channels.
