Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf country rather than an island, with Dubai offering strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, retail, aviation, and entertainment. Its culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic customs, and a highly international workforce. Dubai provides a vibrant lifestyle with beaches, shopping malls, dining, nightlife, desert activities, and excellent public transport, although summer temperatures are extremely high and living costs can be substantial. Employees normally need an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; the company generally arranges medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and related formalities. Before relocating, confirm whether accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, flights, and gratuity are included in the offer. Respect local laws, dress appropriately in traditional settings, and observe Ramadan etiquette. English is widely used in hospitality, while Arabic and other languages are valuable.
