Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island nation, but it offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, resorts, desert landscapes, and modern cities. Fujairah, where Le Méridien Al Aqah is located, is quieter and more relaxed than Dubai, with mountains, diving, snorkeling, water sports, and outdoor excursions nearby. Hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, retail, aviation, and events provide many job opportunities, particularly in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. UAE culture combines Islamic traditions with a highly international population; modest dress and respectful public behavior are important. Lifestyle is generally safe and convenient, though accommodation and transport costs can be high outside employer-provided facilities. Employers normally sponsor a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID. Candidates should confirm contract terms, accommodation, insurance, airfare, and relocation support before departure.
