Coordinador/a de operaciones

Spain Islands DHL €22,000–€30,000 gross per year*
Job Description

DHL is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily logistics and service activities in Spain’s islands. Typical requirements include experience in transport, logistics, customer service or operational coordination; good organisational and problem-solving skills; confidence using standard office and logistics systems; and strong communication in Spanish. English may be valuable in an international environment. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate shipments and teams, monitor service performance, resolve operational issues, maintain accurate records and meet DHL’s quality, safety and customer-service standards. Flexibility, reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work under time pressure are important, particularly during peak periods.

Company Info

DHL is a global logistics and delivery company operating across more than 220 countries and territories. It provides express parcel delivery, freight transportation, supply-chain management, contract logistics and e-commerce services. As part of DHL Group, the company connects businesses and consumers through international and domestic transport networks, supported by aviation, road, warehousing and digital technology. DHL is known for its strong operational standards, international career opportunities and focus on customer service, compliance and sustainability. In Spain, it serves major cities, ports, airports and island communities, where reliable coordination is essential for managing time-sensitive shipments and overcoming capacity, weather and transport constraints. Employees typically work in structured, performance-focused teams, with training and opportunities to develop careers in logistics and operations.

Destination Guide

Spain’s main island job markets are the Balearic Islands—Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza—and the Canary Islands, including Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Logistics, courier services, tourism, retail, aviation, hospitality, healthcare and customer support offer regular opportunities, with demand often increasing before and during the tourist season. Island life combines a relaxed pace, outdoor activities and strong local traditions, although housing can be expensive in popular areas and salaries may be lower than on the mainland. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work in Spain with registration requirements. Non-EU candidates generally need a Spanish work and residence permit arranged with employer support. Relocation should include checking accommodation, transport links, healthcare, taxes and seasonal employment conditions. Spanish is important, while English and other languages are useful in tourist and international logistics environments.
