Destination Guide

Thailand offers logistics, tourism, retail, technology, manufacturing, and customer-service opportunities, with the largest employment markets around Bangkok, the Eastern Economic Corridor, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. Popular islands such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Chang provide a relaxed lifestyle, beaches, outdoor activities, and active hospitality sectors, although professional logistics roles are more concentrated on the mainland. Thai culture values politeness, respect for hierarchy, cooperation, and appropriate dress at work. Living costs vary: Bangkok and Phuket are relatively expensive, while smaller islands may be cheaper but have fewer services and jobs. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting work. Applicants should confirm eligibility, accommodation, healthcare, transport, and tax requirements with DHL and Thai authorities before relocating.
