Business Development Manager

Job Description

The Business Development Manager is expected to identify growth opportunities, develop new customer relationships and expand DHL’s logistics and supply-chain business in Australia. Requirements typically include relevant experience in business development, sales or freight forwarding; strong commercial awareness; excellent communication and negotiation skills; and the ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue targets. Experience with logistics, international freight, supply-chain solutions or complex B2B selling is highly desirable. The successful candidate should be customer-focused, self-motivated, commercially driven and comfortable working with internal teams to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and deliver tailored solutions. Regular travel, accurate CRM management and achievement of key performance indicators may also be expected.
