Job Description

This role supports data center strategy and infrastructure services projects at Rakuten. Candidates are expected to have strong technical project management experience, ideally involving data centers, cloud infrastructure, networks, facilities, or large-scale IT environments. Responsibilities may include planning and coordinating cross-functional projects, managing schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholders, and preparing reports for senior management. The role requires excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to work across technical and business teams. Experience in infrastructure planning, construction, migration, or service operations is advantageous. Business-level Japanese and English, or the ability to work effectively in Rakuten’s international environment, may be required.
