The culture values punctuality, reliability, teamwork, respect, and careful communication, while workplaces are becoming more international and flexible. Lifestyle options range from busy metropolitan living to quieter coastal and rural communities. Public transport is excellent, healthcare is accessible, and daily life is generally safe, though housing and commuting in Tokyo can be expensive.
