Job Description

This role supports the expansion and day-to-day management of Rakuten Mobile shops across Japan. Responsibilities typically include identifying and evaluating store locations, coordinating leases and landlords, overseeing construction, managing property-related issues, controlling budgets, and improving shop operating conditions. Candidates are expected to have experience in property management, retail store development, facilities management, leasing, or a related field. Strong coordination, negotiation, project management, and communication skills are important, along with the ability to work with internal teams, contractors, and business partners. Japanese proficiency is generally essential for negotiating with local landlords and managing domestic operations. A practical, organized, and commercially minded approach is expected, together with willingness to travel within Japan.
