Job Description

This role leads device strategy for Rakuten’s consumer business, supporting product planning, portfolio development, pricing, sales performance, and coordination with internal teams and device manufacturers. Candidates are expected to bring experience in business strategy, product management, sales planning, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or a related field. Strong analytical, project-management, negotiation, and communication skills are important, along with the ability to work across Japanese and international teams. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, and capable of turning market insights into practical device and sales strategies. Business-level Japanese and English may be required or strongly preferred.
