Tokyo provides the largest international job market and excellent public transport, while Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Sapporo may offer lower living costs and growing business communities. Japanese workplace culture values punctuality, teamwork, preparation, and respectful communication. Daily life is safe and convenient, with reliable trains, extensive services, and varied food and entertainment, although housing and commuting in Tokyo can be expensive.
