Job Description

The role designs, implements, and improves security information and event management (SIEM), incident response, detection, and security monitoring capabilities within Rakuten-CERT. Candidates are expected to have practical experience in security architecture, SIEM platforms, log management, threat detection, incident investigation, and security engineering. Knowledge of cloud environments, network security, scripting, automation, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK is highly valuable. The position requires strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, as the successful candidate will work with technical teams across Rakuten to protect systems and respond to cyber threats.
