Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a major hospitality and tourism market, with opportunities in hotels, restaurants, resorts, aviation, retail, events, and entertainment, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although it is not an island, Dubai includes popular coastal areas and destinations such as Bluewaters Island and Palm Jumeirah. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; respectful dress and behavior are expected, especially during Ramadan and in public places. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent transport, beaches, shopping, dining, and year-round events, though summers are extremely hot. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, medical examination, Emirates ID, and work permit after hiring. Candidates should confirm sponsorship, accommodation, transport, insurance, probation terms, and all salary components before relocating. Housing costs can be high, so employer-provided accommodation or allowances are valuable.
