Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest number of hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, and business opportunities. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respect for local customs, and awareness of Ramadan practices are important. Dubai offers a modern lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, beaches, shopping, dining, and extensive public transport, although accommodation and living costs can be high. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas, with the employer generally arranging medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and labor documentation. Confirm the complete benefits package, accommodation, transport, insurance, leave, and relocation support before accepting an offer. English is widely used in hotels, while Arabic is the official language.
