Destination Guide

Indonesia is an archipelago with strong hospitality opportunities across Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, and the major resort islands. Java, including Jakarta, offers the widest range of hotel, restaurant, events, and corporate jobs, while Bali and Lombok are especially active in resorts, wellness, food and beverage, and tourism. Indonesian workplaces generally value politeness, teamwork, respect for seniority, modesty, and good personal presentation. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living in Jakarta to a more relaxed, tourism-oriented pace in Bali and other islands. Rent and daily expenses depend greatly on location, with central Jakarta and popular Bali areas being more expensive. Foreign workers normally need employer sponsorship, an appropriate work permit, and a limited-stay visa; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, insurance, transport, and relocation support before accepting an offer.
