Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal living, beaches, and easy access to islands and waterfront destinations. Hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, logistics, finance, healthcare, and construction provide major employment opportunities, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the northern emirates. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for local customs are important. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent transport, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities, although summers are extremely hot. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit; the employer usually handles the application, medical testing, Emirates ID, and labor documentation. Candidates should confirm contract terms, accommodation, transport, insurance, probation, and visa sponsorship before relocating. Ajman generally offers lower living costs than Dubai, while commuting remains practical.
