Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates rather than an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest concentration of hospitality, wellness, tourism, retail, and business jobs. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respect for religion, and professional courtesy are important. Life in Dubai is modern and convenient, with excellent transport, beaches, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, although rent and summer temperatures can be high. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and sometimes accommodation or transport. Before relocating, confirm the written offer, salary, service charge, housing, insurance, working hours, leave, and visa sponsorship. New arrivals should budget for deposits and initial expenses, and verify that qualifications meet UAE licensing requirements where applicable.
