Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest range of hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, restaurant, and events jobs. The country combines modern cities, beaches, desert landscapes, shopping, and a highly international population. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used in workplaces and daily life. Dubai offers an active, fast-paced lifestyle with extensive dining and entertainment; Abu Dhabi is generally quieter and more family-oriented. Employers normally sponsor an employment visa, residence permit, medical screening, and Emirates ID for overseas hires, subject to UAE regulations. Many hotels provide accommodation or an allowance, transport, meals, medical insurance, and annual airfare, but packages vary. Applicants should verify the written offer, working hours, benefits, probation terms, and recruitment fees before relocating. Summers are extremely hot, so air-conditioned living and transport are important.
