Job Description

The Stewarding Supervisor oversees the daily operation of the stewarding department, ensuring kitchens, equipment, service areas and back-of-house spaces remain clean, safe and well organized. Requirements typically include previous stewarding or hospitality experience, supervisory ability, knowledge of hygiene and chemical-handling procedures, and good communication skills. The successful candidate is expected to schedule and guide colleagues, monitor cleaning standards, control supplies, coordinate with culinary and food-and-beverage teams, train staff, reduce wastage and follow hotel health, safety and environmental policies. Flexibility, physical stamina, attention to detail and a hands-on approach are important in this role.
