Company Info

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is a luxury beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, combining French hospitality with an island-inspired Arabian setting. The property offers guest rooms, suites, residences, restaurants, bars, spa facilities, pools, a private beach, and extensive leisure and event services. It operates under Sofitel, Accor’s luxury hotel brand, which is known for blending local culture with French art de vivre, refined design, and personalised guest experiences. As part of Accor, the resort provides employees with access to an international hospitality network, training opportunities, and potential career mobility across hotels and destinations. The workplace is multicultural and service-focused, with high expectations for presentation, communication, reliability, and attention to detail. Dubai’s busy tourism market also means reservations staff contribute directly to occupancy, guest satisfaction, and the hotel’s commercial performance.

Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island nation, but Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah offers a distinctive resort lifestyle surrounded by beaches, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Hospitality provides many opportunities for reservations, front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, culinary, spa, sales, and management professionals. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while Islamic customs should be respected, particularly regarding dress, public behaviour, and Ramadan practices. Dubai offers modern transport, excellent healthcare, international schools, and a wide range of leisure activities, though accommodation and living costs can be high. Most overseas employees require employer sponsorship and a UAE work visa; employers commonly arrange entry permits, medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and residency formalities. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, accommodation, transport, insurance, annual leave, and return-flight benefits before accepting an offer. A valid passport and attested qualifications may be required.
