Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping hotel facilities, equipment and guest areas safe, functional and well presented. Requirements generally include practical experience in building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning or general repairs, along with the ability to diagnose faults and respond promptly to work requests. Relevant trade qualifications, strong safety awareness and good communication skills are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to work reliably, complete preventive maintenance, support contractors, maintain accurate records and respond professionally to guests and colleagues. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and emergency call-outs may be required. Experience in a hotel or commercial building environment is desirable.
