Company Info

SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel is a luxury lifestyle resort in Sotogrande, Andalusia, operated under Accor's SO/ Hotels & Resorts brand. The property combines contemporary design, fashion-led hospitality and a relaxed social atmosphere with extensive spa, golf, dining and leisure facilities. It attracts international holidaymakers, golf guests, wellness visitors, event groups and affluent local customers. As part of Accor, the resort offers employees access to an international hospitality network, structured training and potential career mobility across hotels and destinations. Team members are expected to deliver distinctive, personal service while maintaining high standards of presentation, guest care and operational professionalism. Although the vacancy is linked to the resort in mainland Spain rather than the Spanish islands, the role may suit candidates seeking a resort-based career in a sunny coastal destination.

Destination Guide

Spain's main island destinations include Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Hospitality opportunities are strongest in hotels, restaurants, bars, resorts, clubs, events, housekeeping and leisure services, especially during the spring and summer seasons. Mallorca and Tenerife offer the broadest year-round employment markets, while Ibiza has strong seasonal nightlife and premium resort demand. Island life combines outdoor activities, beaches and a relaxed social culture, though housing can be expensive in popular areas and seasonal work may involve shared accommodation. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work without a visa but must register locally. Non-EU applicants generally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment. Candidates should arrange a written contract, accommodation, health coverage and a Spanish tax or social-security number before relocating. Spanish language ability improves job prospects, while English is widely used in tourism.
