Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but offers coastal living, desert landscapes and excellent hospitality opportunities. Jobs are widely available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism, aviation and entertainment, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for religion are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches and water sports to malls, dining, hiking and desert excursions. Employers usually sponsor a work visa, medical examination, Emirates ID and residency procedures for successful overseas hires. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, flights and insurance are included. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and less expensive than Dubai, though a car or employer transport is useful. Always verify contract terms, recruitment fees and visa arrangements before relocating.
