Job Description

The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining clean, organised work areas. Typical requirements include basic culinary training or relevant kitchen experience, food-safety knowledge, good communication and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and hotel standards, maintain consistent quality, assist senior chefs, minimise waste and comply with hygiene and workplace-safety procedures.
